READ core expertise is in seismic and cased hole services (data acquisition and data processing), HETS solid expandable tubulars and permanent downhole instrumentation.

READ is a passionate technology developer in these areas, and provides drilling exploration, well construction and well intervention service support throughout reservoir life.  

The group has operational centres in Bergen (Norway), Aberdeen (UK), Houston (USA), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Port Harcourt (Nigeria) and Luanda (Angola) and has conducted operations in most countries worldwide involved in the exploration for, and production of, hydrocarbons. Seismic and reservoir data processing centres are situated in Oslo, Aberdeen and Houston and Port Harcourt.
