Production

The production team within READ has a combined 45 years of experience related to quality control, procurement, supply chain and inventory management. All the personnel within the team play vital roles in ensuring the best possible practices, processes and methods are utilised to maintain the highest levels of quality whilst reducing waste activities and maximising efficiencies throughout. 

The team’s main objective is managing the outsourcing and delivery of quality critical, precision and machined components for the company. We are based in Aberdeen and as a unit provide supply chain and inventory management, quality control and the management of outsourced manufacturing to READ in Aberdeen as well as to our other global business units when required. 

Together, the production team project manages all manufacturing requirements - from raw material procurement through to final assembly. During the manufacturing process we also assist our suppliers with any technical issues and ensure that they have clear, concise work instructions and sufficient support to meet our specifications and requirements.  By utilising best business practices and by carrying out our work in a professional, efficient and timely manner, we drive quality throughout this process. Our ultimate aim is to consistently deliver exactly what the customer requests doing it right, first time and on time.
