Cased Hole Senior Maintenance Technician / Supervisor Vacancy

Salary £30,000 - £43,000 negotiable dependent upon skill and competence level

Principal Accountabilities

Working within the Operations Group, you will be responsible for the operational readiness of all Cased Hole equipment. 

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in a Science / Engineering discipline (preferably in the Oil and Gas industry - though not essential) who are keen to develop their skills and leadership abilities. Based in Aberdeen you may be required to travel to other READ locations & offshore locations

Key Accountabilities:

Preparation of all field equipment relating to assigned operations

• To ensure that all equipment has been properly serviced, maintained and calibrated in line with company procedures and client requirements
• Electronic faultfinding and repair of equipment. 
• Mechanical maintenance, repair and testing of equipment.
• Packing and shipment of equipment.
• To provide out of hours support, as necessary, to assist field operations 
• Supervision of junior staff

Essential Skills / Competencies

• Minimum HND in a Science / Engineering degree or relevant industry competence
• Proven competence in the principles of Cased Hole Logging Services or equivalent
• Knowledge in the running and maintenance of Sondex Cased Hole logging tools or equivalent
• Willingness to work internationally
• Full Current UK Driving Licence 

Desirable Skills / Competencies

• Preferable background in offshore operations to a recognised QHSE International standard
• Recognised qualification in Dangerous Goods shipment
• Current offshore survival certificate
• Previous supervisory duties
