READ CEO Fraser Louden today announced the appointment of Donald Mackay as General Manager of READ Well Services Ltd. He will assume the responsibility of General Manager following completion of his quality and risk management role with StatoilHydro. He takes over the position from Fraser, allowing him to focus on the READ-ASA group activities as CEO.

In his new role, Donald will be responsible for the day to day management of the READ  Well Services Ltd ongoing business. With over 20 years in the oil and gas industry, Donald brings to READ a wealth of experience, spanning assignments in Asia, Russia, Norway, the UK, and West Africa. Donald previously held the position of Location Manger for Read Well Services in Bergen, and is familiar with READ’s products, processes and people.
